The Arctic Monkeys are returning to the stage for the first time since the ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ tour, which ended in 2019. The band recently announced several selected concerts for the summer of next year, in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Bulgaria, so Pula has reached the list of selected destinations. The concert will take place in the Pula Arena, one of the world's most impressive open-air stages, on August 16, 2022.
Tickets for the Arctic Monkeys concert in Pula go on sale on Wednesday, November 24 at 10:00 AM. Tickets can be purchased exclusively online at www.eventim.hr and on partner websites (www.eventim.si, www.eventim.hu, www.eventim.ro, www.oeticket.com). Tickets will not be available at Eventim sales points. It is possible to buy a maximum of 4 tickets in the order. Tickets will be personalized; in the purchase process it will be necessary to enter the details of all visitors who will use the tickets. Only the person whose name is on the ticket will be allowed to enter the concert after checking their ID card.
Ticket prices are: Lodge - numbered seating - 559.00 HRK, Ground floor - standing - 499.00 HRK, Stone stands - free seating - 479.00 HRK, Lawn - standing - 299.00 HRK, Wheelchair ticket - 249.00 HRK.
The Arctic Monkeys are Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O’Malley and Matt Helders. Founded in High Green, Sheffield in 2002, the band has released six studio albums to date, and their most recent, ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ was released in 2018. The band released their first live album ‘Arctic Monkeys Live At The’ in 2020. Royal Albert Hall ’, and all proceeds went to the War Child UK organization. The band's debut album 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' released in 2006 became the fastest-selling debut album in the history of the British charts. By releasing the following albums; ‘Favorite Worst Nightmare’ (2007), ‘Humbug’ (2009), ‘Suck It And See’ (2011), ‘AM’ (2013) and ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ (2018) solidified their position as one of the most successful British bands to emerge in recent times. The Arctic Monkeys are the only band to win the British Best Band award and British Album of the Year at The Brits Awards three times. The band has so far won seven Brit Awards of nine nominations since the release of their 2006 debut album. Other accomplishments include the Ivor Novello Award, the Mercury Music Prize, 20 NME Awards, five Q Awards and three Grammy nominations.
With global album sales of over 25 million and a digital fan base of over 30 million followers, Arctic Monkeys music has been streamed more than nine billion times to date, with an average of 6.5 million streams each day. Their legendary single ‘Do I Wanna Know’ has been streamed a billion times. The Arctic Monkeys performed at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and were twice the main performers of the Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festivals. The band sold over 625,000 tickets worldwide during their 2018 and 2019 ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ tour. Alex Turner has now released eight consecutive albums that have become number one in the UK (6 x Arctic Monkeys, 2 x The Last Shadow Puppets).
